June 20: Summer Solstice Yoga, Robert Mondavi Winery
Celebrate summer with a yoga session set among the famous To Kalon vineyard at Robert Mondavi Winery. As the sun begins to set behind the Mayacamas mountains, instructor Tim Gaskell will lead attendees through a 75-minute practice focusing on the start of summer. June 21: Summer Solstice Celebration, Finley Community Center
Ritualist Sandra Clarke will host a spiritual celebration of the summer solstice with the goal to "activate inspiration, creativity and manifestation." Clarke will guide participants through activities that seek to stimulate the soul and spirit as the season shifts from spring to summer. An anointing ritual will take place, meditation will be guided with a crystal singing bowl from Mt. Shasta, and participants will receive a talisman. June 21: Summer Solstice Sunrise Walk, Laguna de Santa Rosa
Get in touch with the earth with a guided, sunrise walk through Laguna de Santa Rosa. The two-mile easy walk will take hikers to the pond at the park and back. A docent from the Robert Ferguson Observatory will speak about the summer solstice, too. Take the opportunity to scope out the many birds that reside at the park. June 22: Summer Solstice Party, Spring Lake Regional Park
Sonoma County Regional Parks will celebrate summer solstice with a family friendly party at Spring Lake Park's Environmental Discovery Center. Hikes will showcase the many animals living in the park and sun-inspired crafts will be offered to bring some brightness to the day. Connect with your inner goddess with Priestess Marin Bach-Antonson, who will host a "lively evening of sisterhood" with rituals and activities focused on connecting to "summer solar energy." June 24: 6th Annual Summer Solstice Party, Clif Family Winery
Celebrate with rhythm, soul, and funk at Clif Family Winery's annual Summer Solstice Party. And this is how Swedes celebrate Midsummer (summer solstice) - a holiday devoted to eating (lots of herring), drinking (lots of Absolute Vodka or schnapps), dancing (the little frog dance) and pagan rituals (dancing around the may pole).
