Earth Day at Quarryhill Botanical Garden
One of the pre-eminent Asian botanical gardens in the world, Quarryhill celebrates Earth Day annually with a festive day of eco-friendly fun. The event will feature up close and personal experiences with bats, reptiles, wild cats, deer and other animals, gardening activities, beekeeping presentations, arts and crafts, and a plant sale. Explore the wildflowers at Van Hoosear Wildflower Preserve
One of the most spectacular wildflower displays in Northern California will be in full bloom during a guided hike through Van Hoosear Wildflower Preserve in Sonoma. Sonoma Ecology Center naturalists will guide hikers of all ages through the 162-acre property, which is only open to the public for special occasions like this.
