APRIL 8: Battle of the Brews, Santa Rosa
Sip on great local beer for a great cause as the Active 20-30 Club of Santa Rosa puts on their 21st homage to beer, Battle of the Brews, at the Sonoma County Fairground's Grace Pavilion in Santa Rosa. The event draws beer lovers from across the United States and includes one of the top craft beer competitions north of San Francisco, "The Craft Cup," featuring premier microbreweries from across the country, as well as a "Sandwich Showdown," which highlights delicious sandwiches prepared by local chefs. All of the proceeds benefit children in need in Sonoma County. Tickets are $95 for the Craft Cup, $50 for the Main Event, and $10 to enter the raffle. For tickets and more information, click here. APRIL 14-15: IPA 10K and Beer Mile Invitational, Sebastopol
This two-day beer infused running fest, organized by Destination Races and hosted by The Barlow in Sebastopol, includes a pre-race party on Friday, April 14, at Crooked Goat Brewing and a scenic 6.2 mile run on April 15, from the Barlow through the northern rural edge of Sebastopol, followed by a Beer Mile Invitational and a festival featuring 14 craft beer breweries, tasty bites and live music. APRIL 20: St. Florian's Brewery Trivia & Tacos, Windsor
Put on your thinking caps for a night of trivia and tacos at St. Florian's Brewery in Windsor. Each player contributes $1 to “fill the boot” and, at the end of the game, the winning team chooses which charity the proceeds will go to. Supported charities include: San Francisco Firefighters Cancer Foundation, Green Dog Rescue, and Project Linus. APRIL 22: Beer Craft and Track 7 Brewery Release "Wiser Buds" Juicy IPA, Rohnert Park
Local bottle shop and taproom Beer Craft has teamed up with Sacramento-based brewery Track 7 to tap into the Juicy IPA craze with a “Wiser Buds" brew. APRIL 28: Fogbelt Brewing Company Can Release, Santa Rosa
In celebration of Arbor Day, Fogbelt Brewing Company will be releasing their first canned beers: the Zephyr Apricot Gose and Icarus Imperial Blonde.
