Plastic Santa’s Progenitors: Before plastic, Santa was made of paper or celluloid like some of these pictured here. Yankee Girl Antiques owner, Debbie Thea, says it wasn’t until Coca Cola advertisements that Santa got his sparkly-eyed smiled.
