VJB Cellars combines wine tasting with the joyful atmosphere of a mini Italian-style marketplace. Their Italian varietals can be enjoyed in the tasting room or on the piazza paired with deli offerings or pizza made daily. Available for purchase is housemade pasta and sauces from Kenwood Pasta Company, plus exquisite imports like pastas in rainbow colors made with ingredients like beets, spinach and squid ink. The winery's own recipe books are available, too. (John Burgess)

After pizza, there’s chocolate tasting on the square at Wine Truffle Boutique. Gummy kabobs are available for the kids and there are wonderful wine-driven chocolates offered: Think Prosecco truffles with strawberry or rose essence. Or chocolate-covered salted caramel with Merlot salt on top—mmmm. (Courtesy of Wine Truffle Boutique)

But wait! There's more. How about a little boutique of housewares from playful gifts to traditional Italian pottery? And for casually dapper wine tasters, there’s a mini Tommy Bahama store, complete with arty graphic tees and dressy Aloha shirts. Jacuzzi Vineyards boasts an expansive boutique space and plenty of offerings, so many, in fact, that you’ll need to visit multiple times to take it all in. Taste locally-made olive oils from The Olive Press and balsamic vinegars in surprising but tasty flavors like coconut and mango. Lotions and a lavender CBD pol are available, too, as well as housewares and accessories—some locally-made, such as hand-painted scarves and cork bags. (Chris Hardy)

Landmark Vineyards has a good-sized tasting room and a tranquil patio and lawn from which to take in vineyard- and mountain views. The boutique area is little but large in local offerings. Starting with Cowgirl Creamery’s bries and Rustic Bakery’s flatbreads, there’s also locally-made jewelry, Beam and Branch baskets, blankets and super-rustic wine-stave centerpieces by Sonoma Shop Girl. B.R. Cohn Winery's gourmet shop sells the winery's exclusive line of oils and balsamic vinegars. The oils are sourced from California fruit, including Picholine olives from the 100+ year old trees on the winery property. There are books, B.R. Cohn merch and wine accessories for sale, too. Some items are a little bit rock-n-roll, like guitar-shaped cheese plates, and give a nod to the Sonoma Harvest Music Festival, hosted at the winery each September. It's Bottle Rock’s little-but-happening sibling that takes place against a show-stopping vineyard backdrop. B.R.
