Wine Country Yarn Hop, July 19-21: What’s a yarn hop? It’s like a pub crawl, but without carbohydrates and hangovers. Yarn-lovers will start the hop at one of five fiber stores (Yarnitudes, Cast Away, Fiber Circle Studio, Purl of Joy and Heidi’s Yarn Haven) and, for $5, will get a tote with products. Hoppers will get a passport stamp at each store they visit, all of which will have special offers and a custom pattern available. Wine Country Yarn Hop, June 19-21, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., winecountryyarnhop.com

Fiber Circle Studio will be featuring local yarn producers, dyers and maker vendors, and Cast Away will have a trunk show by Bay Horse Yarn. At the end, hoppers with stamps from all stores will be entered for a drawing to win one of the grand prize baskets. Some stores will partner with local wineries to offer wine tasting alongside fiber gazing. Wine Country Yarn Hop, June 19-21, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., winecountryyarnhop.com
