Woodenhead prefers to call their winemaking Burgundian done California-style. The wine is handcrafted in tune to the natural rhythm of the land, the water, the air, and the seasons. No mechanical pumping is employed. Inoculated yeast and malolactic cultures, hand punching, basket pressing, French oak, and California fruit; Small and unique lots are the goal, and the result is what they like to call ultra premium wine. The prominent wines produced are Carignan, Pinot Noir, Sparkling/Champagne, Syrah, French Colombard and Zinfandel.
