150 years ago the Giusti family immigrated from San Pelligrinetto, Italy to Sonoma County. In 2009 Kurt Giusti felt a call to honor and preserve the Giusti Family’s 150-year Sonoma County farming tradition and continue the family legacy, which has transcended into Via Giusti Wines. Winemaking was a part of the family heritage, but only for personal use, but now the family is sharing their road with everyone.
Via Giusti Wines is a limited production artisan winery, originally producing Russian River Valley Estate Pinot Noir and has now grown to include Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir and Carneros-Sonoma County Vermentino to its family of wines.
In 2009 Via Giusti’s inaugural production was only 26 cases, increasing for 2011 and 2012 vintages to 85 cases, and now to over 500 cases in 2015, continuing to grow each year.
