A local’s secret, this classic cottage bistro deserves to be on everyone’s radar. Chef-owner Rick Warkel is a Culinary Institute of America graduate, and his training shows in his meticulously crafted pan-roasted Grimaud Muscovy duck breast in sour cherry jus and skillful rabbit gumbo. Other specialties include the  luscious beef Bolognese, rabbit cacciatore,  and a specialty dish of  trout roe, herb cream cheese and house-cured salmon  atop crisp potato cake and curls of radish and cucumber.  You can’t miss the sign for “great food” on the corner of Cedar Street and Lincoln Ave.
