The Bank Club Wine Collective is located in the Historic Bank of Guerneville building built in 1921. The Guerneville Bank Club takes its name from this and an old bar across the street called The Bank Club. The original architect, Carl I. Warnecke of Miller and Warnecke, was the father of John Carl Warnecke, one of the great modernist architects of the 20th century.
It is a collective of two wineries: Baldassari and Inizi. A.J. and Jen Filipelli & John and Kirsti Harley are the co-founders of INIZI Wines. The name INIZI came from their belief that a bottle of wine begins in the vineyard. They believe that wine should reflect not only the variety of the grape, but also the place it was grown, and the farming applied to the vineyard.
The tasting room is open Thursday through Monday, 12 – 5 p.m.
