I moved to California from Ann Arbor, Michigan about a week before the fence went up. Two friends and I drove up to Napa Valley (where I have now lived for 40 years) and followed the Running Fence across Sonoma and Marin to the sea. It was an incredible experience to welcome me to California - I felt so welcomed by this ambitious art work.

I would definitely add a really good breakfast (not average) and really good home made baked goods with really good espresso and coffee. We do need to bring back the original intent of the original founders minus post office, but with something new and innovative that brings the locals and their families, and of course tourists. However, sometimes we forget about how important the business of the locals are. I am 76 and born and raised here and some of us locals miss the neighborly feeling we used to have. My husband and I are definitely foodies and like to see change and interesting new foods, but with the ambience of that comfortable relaxed homey feeling!
