In case you haven’t noticed already, Sonoma County Restaurant Week is here (March 1-10). While the discounted food feast is best known for offering diners a once-per-year opportunity to explore higher-end restaurants without spending too much, it’s also popular among parents looking for great deals.

There’s no shortage on kid-friendly restaurants (and wineries) in Sonoma County, and many of them participate in Restaurant Week. But, as much as we love to have plenty of choices, picking a restaurant (especially with kids) can sometimes be exhausting. And so, to help our fellow mommys and daddys out, we’ve checked out the Restaurant Week menus and picked out a few top choices for families. With $10 and $15 lunches, you won’t even have to worry about mid-meal meltdowns or food rejections — after all, you won’t be out of too much cash, and you’ll have time to recover afterwards. Restaurant Week tips for parents:

Check out both the Restaurant Week- and the Kids menu before you pick a spot; make a reservation; arrive early (before the restaurant gets packed); tip well; and (obviously) be respectful of fellow restaurant patrons sans kids. If you can’t make it out for lunch or dinner, check out the new Pastry Perk Special at participating bakeries, coffee shops, and pie shops. Try a new bakery or visit a favorite for a cup of coffee (for yourself) and a pastry to share with your kid.
